Who We Are

If you condensed Dothan Community Church down to a purpose statement of one sentence, it would be this: “Children of God, having received Jesus Christ as our personal Savior; committed to God, the Bible, and each other; organized and functioning as a local church called Dothan Community Church.”

If you took that purpose statement and put flesh on it the result would be this: we strive to be a family of believers who love Christ, love one another, commit ourselves to Christian discipleship, and maximize our giftedness to reach and disciple the unreached for Christ.

If you observed the life and ministries of Dothan Community Church, you would see men, women and children filling the spectrum of spiritual maturity, struggling with many of the issues you face with jobs, families, relationships, health…yet challenged to walk with God and apply His Word to all these issues of life. And we believe you would see a difference, one that is effective, appealing, and of the Lord.
