What We OfferRather than “all things to all people”, Dothan Community Church strives to be “God’s thing to all people.” From nursery to senior saints, we work to provide God’s ministry for everyone. Adult Ministry
The adult ministries provide a variety of opportunities designed to help the individual grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Small group ministry through our Elder Groups nurture a “family within the family” for members at DCC. Ongoing men's and women's fellowships provide encouragement, education and ministry outlets for men and women. Marriage enrichment opportunities are available through MarriageMaker. Adult Sunday School classes deal with real-life issues and needs from a biblical perspective. Senior adults are honored through special programs which highlight their needed wisdom and counsel. Youth Ministry
Our youth ministries exist to encourage and equip junior and senior high students in the maintenance and enhancement of their fellowship with God during the significant and sometimes trying years as they transition from childhood to adulthood. Group discussion of relevant adolescent issues, biblical instruction, Christian counseling by adult staff, and a variety of fun activities help to give balance to this vital ministry. Jesse Nelson is our full-time pastor of teens overseeing this growing ministry. Children’s Ministry
“HIS Kids” and “Thru the Bible” describe the ministries for our 1st thru 6th graders. Children are immersed in Bible lessons, Scripture memory, theme-based games and activities, singing, and take-home materials. Ric Hamic is “building” this part of the ministry as our new full-time Children’s Ministry Coordinator. The rest of the “construction” is taking place outside. “His Place” is a children’s center addition being added to our church campus, providing 18,000 sq. ft. of space for our children. We anticipate occupying a portion of this very soon, Lord willing!!

We have Sunday School at 9:30 and Worship at 10:30.
Our Children’s Ministry is “under construction” in a number of ways! Currently we have staffed nurseries for 0-5 year olds offering a safe, fun, loving environment for your child during the regular ministries of the church. Children are instructed with quality, age-appropriate materials emphasizing biblical values and principles.
